I read pages 242 to 249. In this chapter, Aria, Mike, Meredith and her dad go to dinner at the hotel. Aria is not happy at all that her dad invited Meredith. She was hoping this trip could be a bonding trip. Plus, Meredith is pregnant and keeps puking. After dinner, Aria couldn't wait to get to her and her brother's room, but she finds out that everyone is staying in one room. Aria is so annoyed because even though it's a suite, she can still hear Meredith getting sick at night. Aria decides to go out.

I read pages 235 to241. In this chapter, Aria goes on a trip with her dad and brother to ski. She wasn't looking forward to it, but when they got there is was really nice. She actually thought she might learn to ski. Her dad told her he has a surprise for her inside, but Aria didn't like it. The surprise was Aria's dad's girlfriend, Meredith. She's pregnant and is marrying Aria's dad after his divorce finalizes.  Aria doesn't like her at all and doesn't want to spend any time with her. The vacation she thought might actually be fun just went down hill.

I read pages 224-234. In this chapter, Emily's mom apologizes to her about calling the police on her elf friends. Emily misses her friends and wonders if they are still working as elves at the mall. She was bummed because her Santa job was over and was surprised she actually missed being there. Then the elves knock on her door. They tell her they knew what she did, and at first Emily thinks they are talking about her mom calling the police, so she apologizes again. They were actually talking about they knew she got them out of jail. There were no hurt feelings anymore. As the elves were leaving, she saw something or someone in the woods. Maybe A has been watching her this whole time.

I read pages 215 to 223. In these chapters Emily helps the elves. She sneaks out and goes to Officer O'Neil. She tells him to let them go, and at first he says no. Emily then shows him a picture of him on her phone. He doesn't want the picture to get out, so he lets the elves go. Emily tells him not to tell the elves that she was the one who got them out of jail. Officer O'Neil doesn't understand why Emily doesn't want the elves to know it was her but says okay. Emily knows that they will always think of her as a traitor, but she knows she did the right thing by getting them set free.

I read pages 202 to 214. In these chapters Emily goes with the elves to pull a prank. Everything goes well and Emily's nervousness fades. She has never felt such a rush in her life. Then the police come and tell them to get on the ground. Emily is scared, but the police's voice sounds familular. It's her mom. The police put all the elves in the car, but not Emily. Then the elves put it all together and call Emily a narc. Emily never told her mom about the prank, but her mom tracked her cell phone and followed them. Emily is so mad and sad because now she doesn't have any friends again.

I read pages194 to 201. In this chapter, Cassie invites Emily to lunch with out the others elves, which surprises Emily. The two of them start talking about Ali and how she seemed so much older than she was. Emily starts to feel tears in her eyes but then there lunch comes. Cassie asks Emily to pull a prank with the elves. At first Emily isn't sure she wants to do the prank, which is to take all the presents under the country club's tree and the decorations. Cassie assures her they are just moving them to the tennis court. Emily agrees to help.

I read pages 187 to 193. In this chapter, Emily  hangs out with the elves. She has the iPhone her mom gave her in hand to catch them in action. Emily discovers that she doesn't want to because she likes hanging out with them. She finally feels likes she has friends since the whole Ali and A thing, and she doesn't want to give that up. The elves use to think Emily was a narc, but Emily proved herself. The elves let her into their group. Emily has gone to the dark side.

I read pages 164 to 186. In these chapters, Emily goes to Cassie's party. She is happy because the elves are actually talking to her, and they are having real conversations. Emily finds that she is having a lot of fun. The next day, Emily's mom pulls her out of school to get a manicure, which Emily finds strange because her mom is usually very strict. Her mom asks her about the party and gives Emily a new iPhone. She wants Emily to record the elves emitting they are stealing things. Emily agrees to it but doesn't really want to do it. Later, Emily goes to work as Santa and the elves don't want to work. Emily has to become an insider with them, so she tell her manager there are bedbugs and the mall got shut down for the rest of the day. Cassie and the elves ask Emily to hang out with them.

I read page 151 to 163. In these chapters, Emily's mom lets her go to a party, which surprises Emily because her mom is usually super strict. The party is at Cassie's house. Emily is nervous because she usually doesn't hang out with the cool people. She remembers that Cassie use to be Ali's field hockey friend, and Emily went to one of Cassie's parties with Ali in seventh grade, but she had a horrible time because she was left out. Emily shows up at the party and feels left out again. Then Cassie asks Emily who she is, which makes Emily feel worse. She tells Cassie she is Santa at the mall. Suddenly Cassie and all of her friends invite Emily to sit with them. Emily finally feels part of the cool crowd.

I read pages 144 to 150. In this chapter Emily tries to get on the elves good side. She notices that Cassie has been on her break for a long time. Also, she wonders why Cassie changed so much. She use to be a popular Rosewood girl with blond hair. When Cassie returns an hour later, the boss is really mad, so Emily tells the boss it was her fault. She tells the boss how she sent Cassie looking for a different Santa hat because hers is itchy. Cassie was very grateful and invited Emily to a party. Emily is excited because she is now on the elves good side unless it is all a setup.

I read pages 136 to 143. In this chapter, Emily is made to be Santa at the mall. At first, she thinks it weird, but then she starts to really like it. She loves how cute all the kids are and loves hearing what they want for Christmas. Then she is introduced to four girls. The elves, which she heard have been stealing things. She recognizes one of them who use to play field hockey with Ali, but she now has blue hair and piercings. They have a lot of attitude, and Emily doesn't know if she can deal with them.

I read pages 307 to 338. In these chapters, Noel apologizes to Aria, and wants to get back together with her, and since Ezra cheated on her with Noels girlfriend Klaudia, Aria forgave Noel. Then Aria, Spencer, Hanna, and Emily went to visit Kelsey in rehab to ask her why she was A. They talk to her and figure out she wasn't A. They are so confused and don't understand. Then they get a text from A saying that they will never figure out who she or he is. The rehab that Kelsey is at is the same one Ali, Courtney, and Tabitha were at. The torture from A isn't over yet.

I read pages 301 to 306. In this chapter, Hanna finds out her boyfriend, Liam, is quite the player. She finds out in the paper, and there are pictures of him and three other girls. She gets so upset because she felt special and really liked him. Kate knew that she was seeing him because she showed her the article in the paper. Hanna doesn't understand why Kate doesn't tell their dad, but she says she knows what it feels like to be cheated on. Hanna decides to tell her dad all the dirty secrets Liam told her about his dad. Hanna wants to take them down.

I read pages 273 to 300. In these chapters, Spencer and Kelsey get into a fight because she thinks Kelsey is A, and sent her a picture of Tabitha dead. It looks like Spencer attacked Kelsey though, but she didn't. Emily goes with Kelsey in the car, and Kelsey is acting really weird. She takes Emily to this place that has a huge cliff. Emily gets freaked out and calls Aria, Hanna, and Spencer. They go to save her. Emily is convinced Kelsey is A and is going to push her off the cliff, but instead Kelsey tries to jump. Emily stops her, and the ambulance comes. They find out Kelsey was on drugs again.

I read pages 265 to 272. In this chapter, Ezra surprises Aria at the cast party. Aria gets a little embarrassed that he came because her mom doesn't know they are dating. He feels bad and leaves her. Then Aria realizes she can't loose Ezra again, so she goes to find him. She hears somebody in the coat closet..could it be A? Could it be Ezra? She peaks her head in and realizes it is Ezra and Klaudia. Aria can't believe it, so she runs out of the closet.

I read pages 250 to 264. In these chapters, the Macbeth play goes on. Spencer is the lead and it nervous because she is sending the tape to Princeton, hoping to get accepted. She sees Kelsey in the audience and chokes, thinking Kelsey is A. She forgot her first line. In her next scene she was awesome because she doesn't want to fall into A's trap. At the cast party Emily and Spencer talk because Emily was the one who invited Kelsey. Spencer was mad, but finds out that Emily loves Kelsey. Spencer tells Emily that Kelsey is using her just like Ali did. Emily runs to the bathroom in tear, and Kelsey finds her. Emily tells her that Spencer was the one that framed Kelsey for drugs over the summer. Kelsey leaves.

I read pages 232 to 249. In these chapters Hanna's boy friend goes over to her house, but he has to be secretive because nobody can know that they are dating. They talk about how they will tell each other everything. Then Hanna starts to feel guilty because she can't tell him about A. She feels like she is telling him lies, but she has no choice. Liam thinks they are soul mates. Then Ezra goes over to Aria's house, and they talk about moving to New York. Her mom comes home early though, and Aria and Ezra have to sneak out. Aria still has to tell her mom that she is dating Ezra. Also, her and Klaudia get in an argument while working on their project together.

I read pages 223 to 231. In this chapter, Spencer meets with Beau again for help with her acting. He tells her to become her character and to relate her character to her own life. Spencer does, and she forgets she is acting. She starts thinking about Jamaica and Kelsey at the summer camp. Then she feels like she woke up, but she didn't. She thinks she has drugs (easy A) in her hand, and then Kelsey and Tibitha come out of the woods. Spencer freaks out, and then she wakes up. Beau said she did a great job becoming her character even though Spencer has no idea about what just happened.

I read pages 214 to 222. In this chapter Emily goes hiking with Kelsey. She doesn't think Kelsey is A. She gets Kelsey to tell her she was in Jamaica, and Kelsey acts surprised that Emily was there too. Then a group of guys come through the woods to get a drink at the fountain. While the guys are getting a drink, Kelsey excuses her self to the bathroom. The guys leave, and nobody is there. Then suddenly someone pushes Emily down the hill. Emily looks up and sees a blond figure. She thinks it is Ali, but that would be crazy. Then Kelsey comes back and asks her what happened. Emily tells her someone pushed her, and then Emily looked at her phone. She had a new text message from A.

I read pages 206 to 213. In this chapter, Aria can tell that he brother Mike misses his ex girlfriend Hanna. Aria tells Mike that he should tell Hanna how he feels, but he says no because that will make him look girly. He then goes on a date with a girl he doesn't really like. Emily, Spencer, and Hanna go to Aria's house. Spencer shows them the pictures that were on Kelsey's phone. She is convinced that Kelsey is A, but Emily doesn't think she is. After Spencer, Emily, and Hanna leave, Aria sends an e-mail to Ezra asking if she can move to New York City with him now and finish high school online because she is tired of all the bad things happening in Rosewood.

I read pages 198 to 205. In this chapter Kelsey is at Spenser's house for band practice with Spencer's step sister. Spencer starts to spy on Kelsey to see if she is A. Spencer decides to take Kelsey's purse and go through it, hoping to find evidence. She doesn't find anything at first, but then she finds her iphone. There were no texts that made her seem like A though. Spencer thought maybe she was paranoid until she looked at the Kelsey's photos. Kelsey was in Jamaica the same time Spencer and her friends were, and she was at the same hotel. There was a picture of Tibitha. Spencer is so freaked out because she thinks Kelsey know what happened in Jamaica and wants revenge.

I read pages 35 to 197. In these chapters, Hanna discovers that her new boyfriend's father is her dads competition for elections, so she has to keep her boyfriend, Liam, a secret from everyone. Also, Spencer has to improve her acting in their school play. She is the lead but is not doing well. A guy in her class helps her by saying she has to become the character, has to dig up a memory to feel how the character feels. She does that and improves quite a bit. Spencer is convinced Kelsey is A, but Emily doesn't think that is possible because Kelsey is Kay, who is her girlfriend. They aren't sure who A is but know A is watching them and is very close.
